Merseyside giants Liverpool have largely focused on new contracts for their players this summer with only one major arrival. At the start of the summer, the Reds wrapped up the transfer of highly rated centre back Moussa Konate from German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.

England international Trent Alexander-Arnold and Brazilian midfielder Fabinhohave both been rewarded with new contracts at Liverpool this summer and several other stars including Mo Salah are expected to follow.

Trent is a Liverpool Academy graduate and he rightly became one of the highest earners at the club via a new four-year deal signed last week.

For Mo Salah, the Egyptian national team talisman has two years left on his Liverpool that would take him to the age of 31 at the club and Reds officials are ready to invest in him further to secure his future on Merseyside.

Mohamed Salah has been the recipient of several records at Liverpool since signing for the club from Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma in 2017 and he could add another record to his haul if the Reds offer him a new deal as expected to take him over the £200,000 mark as his weekly wages to make him the highest earner in the history of the club.

During his four-year spell at Liverpool, Mo Salah has been linked with a move to the Spanish La Liga duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Mohamed Salah is the 12th highest goalscorer at Liverpool with 125 goals in 203 games.
