The manager of Peterborough United, Darren Ferguson, has hailed his side for the brilliant performance in the match against Millwall FC, but, he has also said that his team should not get complacent with this convincing victory and should show the same kind of intensity in all the remaining games of the ongoing Championship.

This season has been tough for Peterborough United so far. The team has struggled in most of the matches, but, in the match against Millwall, the performance of Peterborough was world class. The Posh were at their very best against Millwall. It was a terrific all round performance by them.

Ferguson looked absolutely delighted with the performance of his team against the Den. The Peterborough manager said, “We had played well in the last couple of games and we came into this match with a bit of confidence. But, honestly speaking, I hadn’t expected the team to win the match by such a big margin. It was certainly our best performance of the season.”

“Our current position in the points table is not that good, but, if we keep playing as well as we have played today, we will certainly not end up in the relegation zone. Today, we showed that we have got the potential. It’s just the matter of consistency. We need to put up performances like this consistently.”

“The kind of position we are in, we should take it match by match. We shouldn’t think too far ahead. There are still 8 games left and if we play up to our potential in the remaining games, we will end up at a decent position in the points table.”

Peterborough is currently at the last position in the Championship points table. The Posh have played 32 matches so far out of which they have won 10, lost 19 and the remaining 3 matches have finished in the form of draws. Peterborough currently has 33 points.
