Former Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao has become one of the expensive players in world football following his £ 53 million move to French club Monaco.
He was one of the coveted players in this transfer window, but he chose to move to a club who are on the rise. The 27-year-old has stated that the French club will certainly benefit from his peak years in football. He is under no illusion that Monaco will become one of the best clubs in Europe in a short span of time. The club, which is owned by a Russian billionaire, have spent in excess of £ 100 million already in this transfer window.
PSG and Monaco have been the big spenders in world football right now. Along with Falcao, Monaco have been able to attract several players like Ricardo Carvalho and James Rodriguez as well. Falcao has become one of the deadliest strikers in world football. He has been an inspirational run of form in the last three years. During this period, he has helped to clubs win the Europa league.
