A 4-1 triumph of Arsenal over Everton sealed a semifinals place for the team of Arsene Wenger and the head coach of the team believes that despite having so many competitions and important matches left to be played, his squad still takes the FA Cup seriously.

‘People have questioned our desire to do well in the FA Cup many times, but we are in the semi-final now and from our performance on Saturday, you can see we really want it. We took this competition seriously’ he told the Guardian.

One of their Arsenal twitter fans – @Darren – was full of priase for Arsenal after he won a betfair football £50 free bet for successfully predicting the score.

‘Since the start of this competition it is true that we had a good draw in the fact that we played all the games at home, which is the first time that this has happened since I played in the FA Cup. But, on the other hand, we played difficult opponents like Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton and that shows you that we have taken this competition seriously’ Wenger revealed.

Arsene Wenger not only has to focus for the FA Cup and the Premier League but his squad has been having some concerns with Bacary Sagna demanding a 3 year deal worth €120,000 a week.
Bacary Sagna earns €60,000 a week with Arsenal but the Frenchman has told the media that he has been receiving offers from Galatasaray and Monaco and he will need a bigger incentive if he wants to stay with the Premier League club.

Thomas Vermaelen is another player that is expected to leave the club at the end of the season as he has failed to book a place in the starting lineup of Wenger and he wants to join a club where he can play a more important role.
