BERNARD LEAVES CORVALLIS
Former Oregon State running back Yvenson Bernard has left Corvallis to sign with the Alouettes.
Bernard spent the past two seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
"It was a good signing and a smart signing," said one league executive, according to a report by the Montreal Gazette. "He's a good player — tough, fast and durable."
The contract is for one year and an option. Bernard will receive an estimated base salary of $70,000.
